QwikWash America began conceptually in 1999, when a small group of entrepenuers decided the consumer could be better served in the Car Wash and Lube market with a new and exciting concept called flex car washing. The concept fulfills a long standing need by the consumer to access comprehensive vehicle maintenance needs without occupying an inordinate amount of the consumers’ time and providing the customer the option to choose a targeted service to fit their needs.
The flex wash was born from the consumers need to save time, provide choices, and save money. Car washes in general, at least those defined as “full service,” tend to be cumbersome with time and money. In the past a traditional car wash customer could expect to enter a car wash facility, enter a vacuum line, choose from two or three wash packages, exit the vehicle and enter a lobby and wait. Core services were always considered wash and vacuum. What if the consumer only needs an exterior car wash?
Change is good. The flex model menu allows lube and wash customers to build from core services like exterior car wash only to fit more specific needs. Sometimes you need only exterior, sometimes, the interior needs cleaning also, sometimes an express hand wax or other detail service is needed.
Since March of 2002, QwikWash America! has taken the flex process idea and worked diligently to perfect it into a fast, economical approach to car wash and lube services while adding peripheral services such as glass chip repair, and set the standard for flex washing.
We have received wide acclaim from industry peers as well being awarded “Small Business of the Year” by the Frisco Chamber of Commerce in 2003. In 2004, QwikWash expanded to McKinney and has successfully introduced Flex Car Washing to our location at North Central Expressway and Highway 380. Future expansion is planned for Roanoke, north of Fort Worth in 2007. |
